Adriana Neves

Adriana Neves is an accomplished professional dancer and dance teacher with experience in various styles of dance. For instance, modern jazz, contemporary, ballet, Ballroom dance, Salsa, Brazilian dances as Samba and Forró, and African dances as Kizomba and Semba.

Originally from Brazil, she lived in Portugal for 14 years where she had her first contact with Kizomba in 1997. Over there, she was a dancer, dance teacher and had run her own dance school, besides teaching to the main dance schools in Porto. In the years between 2007 and 2010 she was cruising around the world as a dancer. She moved to London in October 2010, where one of the first places she started teaching Kizomba was at Chocolate Tuesdays. She worked with various promoters and Kizomba events in London, and in 2012 she co-create Kizomba Sundays, one of the most successful weekly events since then. Extremely talented and professional, Adriana has been invited to perform and teach at many congresses, festivals and events all over the UK and abroad. She is also an Event Manager with a Masters degree in Live Music Management, which opened other possibilities for her to explore other industries. For example, as a Stage Manager and lecturer of Event Production at the University of West London. In summary, with several years of experience, she is a versatile professional and her classes are didactic and a good fun.
